2026 Minnesota Senate District 56 Republican Party Basic Political Organizational Unit (BPOU) Convention 

The Senate District 56 Republican Party is hereby called to convention on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 at: 

Dakota County Technical College

1300 145th Street East

Rosemount, MN 55068

In-person registration will begin at 8:30 A.M. with the convention commencing promptly at 9:00 A.M. Registration will close at 9:30 A.M.

Expected adjournment before 2:00 P.M.

Registration is $50 per person (available in advance or at the door). Adult guests may attend for a $5 guest fee.

Minnesota’s Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program will refund up to $75 per person, per year for qualifying political donations.

Please ask us about the MN PCR program at the convention to receive a receipt for your donation. Cash or check donations may be made at the convention.

The Senate District 56 Republican Party Convention shall be composed of the Delegates and Alternates elected at the 2026 Precinct Caucuses. The convention shall be held for the purposes of:

1. Consideration of the Resolutions passed at the 2026 Precinct Caucuses. The Resolutions Committee report will be available at the convention and at the SD56 website.

2. Endorsement of a Candidate for the Minnesota Senate in Senate District 56.

3. Endorsement of Candidates for the State Legislature in House Districts 56A and 56B.

4. Election of Delegates and Alternates to the 2nd Congressional District and State Republican Conventions. 

5.  Transaction of such business may properly come before the convention.
