Who We Are

The Senate District 56 Republicans (SD56) serve communities in the southeastern Twin Cities metro area of Minnesota. Our district represents hardworking families, small business owners, parents, retirees, and engaged citizens who care deeply about the future of our state.

We are part of the broader structure of the Republican Party of Minnesota and are organized to advance conservative principles rooted in individual liberty, limited government, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and strong local communities.

Our mission is to:

  • Organize at the grassroots level
  • Support strong Republican candidates
  • Engage and inform voters
  • Strengthen our local communities

We believe meaningful change starts locally and that engaged citizens are the foundation of a strong Minnesota.

Where We’re Located

Senate District 56 is located in the southeastern Twin Cities metropolitan area of Dakota County, Minnesota. The district includes all of Apple Valley, Rosemount (Precincts 1–5, 7, and 8), and Eagan (Precinct 18).

What We Do

Throughout the year, SD56 Republicans host:

  • Monthly Pints & Politics gatherings
  • Precinct caucus coordination
  • Senate District conventions
  • Volunteer and door-knocking efforts
  • Candidate forums and special guest events

We are committed to developing leaders, equipping volunteers, and building a strong, active district organization.
